Kayaking in the arcipelago

There is something special about paddling out in the Archipelago as the sun is setting and the sky sloooooowly gets dark blue and orange. It's very Swedish and very beautiful.

Navigating in the dark

You need to stay focused during the whole race. Loose your focus at the wrong time can cost you hours.

What is the most unique part of this race?

Easy answer: air mattress paddling. A fantastic combination of disciplines that includes cool clear water, fantastic views from high cliffs, fun running through a wild forest without trails (avoiding those sharp branches that are sticking out of course !), and waving at the wealthy Stockholmers sitting on their boat drinking a morning glass of orange juice and wondering what the hell we were doing at this hour on sleeping mattresses…

Stockholm Extreme 2013 Cancelled

The 2013 edition of Stockholm Extreme has been cancelled and we are now planning for a return in 2014.

If you would like to receive news about the race you are welcome to send us an email to 2014@stockholmextreme.se and we will keep you posted on important updates about the race.

Results are updated

The results have now been updated and these are the final results and rankings. Congratulations to Team Silva who finished the race in 15 hours 6 minutes and 43 seconds.

16 of the 25 teams finished the full course, 1 team finished on short course. 7 teams had to drop out for different reasons and the last team did not start.
